DOWNLOAD: Lara Fabian - Croire
Luxembourg is a small country with numerous fantastic entries. I really miss the country the last 15 years at the Eurovision Song Contest.
Lara Fabian was the last Top 5-song from Luxembourg. Croire came 4th in the Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin, Ireland. Like most artists, who represented the Grand Duchy, Lara Fabian wasn't from Luxembourg, but from Belgium.
Lara Crockaert is the real name of Fabian. She was born 1970 in Etterbeek. After the Eurovision Song Contest 1988 she started her long lasting career and she was often called "the new Céline Dion", which is interresting, because Dion won the ESC the same year. In 1997 she had numerous hits.
Her career is concentrated on french speaking countries though. Even her two english albums were more successfull in France, Canada and Belgium. 2007 she was guest at the Sanremo-festival and performed Un cuore malato with Gigi D'Alessio. The song was again a hit. The french version is named Un cœur blessé. Lara lives in Montréal, Canada, now.
The 7" single from 1988 brings us the French and the English version of her entry.
